    Was installing driver 163.44 for geforce 6100 and vista (32-bit) nearly crashed...i entered safe mode and used system restore to go back to factory provided driver...can someone pls advice me the latest/best driver for 6100?

    Depends, you would have to do some research, laptop drivers are typically custom made for each manufacturer to control graphics related accessories on the laptop such as shutting the lid, sleep mode etc., so a generalized driver may not always work too well... Have you visited laptopvideo2go yet?
