I went through about 80% of all the main quests in oblivion and shivering isles.
I did some user made quests too like the legacy, the butcher of armindale.
I used about 2 gb of mods including ooo ( dont play this game without ooo)
I think its the best game i ever played. I was so addicted. I took a month break even and when i started again i was up all night addicted. "just one more quest."
I cant wait until fallout 3 ( although I bet there is another expansion for oblivion first)
I wouldnt even want fallout 3 to be made by the orignal fallout people. Forget about them, I want the people who made oblivion to make it. Much better made game.
And you know back in the day i played morrowind and i never was interested enough to finish it. This game is much better. The only game I can think of I give a 10 to in years was half life 2. But this is a better game.
The game never ends technically but the drama is much less at this point just trying to cover every inch of the world and own a billion gold or something.

Congratulations.
I just started playing. Great fun but mine will randomly crash (very annoying).
What's the ooo mod? -

You rule, I am jealous man. Cannot run with such mods, slow laptop
-
obscuros oblivion overhaul.
If youre just starting, stop. You have to start a new game to use that mod.
I think the game without it is a waste of time. -
What exactly does it do and why do you think I should get it to play?
-
congrats,
my computer can play it thoug te visual effects are well not that great on mine
i too despise you
i did install it and run it for an hour so but i had to reformat my lappy after that so i lost if your wondering about the cd...i ma too i have no idea what happend to it -
'grats! Also, I'm making a memorial for all the time that got killed along the way.
-
Congratulations. I am jealous. I am yet to start the game
I may as well just sell it it seeing as its been lying around for 2 month -
Tell you what, why don't we leave a classic *and very different* RPG franchise which has its own unique strengths alone, instead of turning it into Oblivion 2? If you want Oblivion 2, then wait for Oblivion 2. But don't ruin the games the rest of us might be looking forward to.
Oh, and Oblivion itself is hopelessly broken. You said it yourself. You *need* a ton of mods to get any enjoyment out of it. They've made so incredibly bad design decisions that it's not even funny. What kind of idiot decided that the monsters should level with you so you actually benefit most from *never* levelling?
I'm depressed now -
I dont know what happened but i have a little over 6 million gold right now. I finished one of the "kill the vampire" quests and a bug/glitch handed me ~5.9mil in gold as a reward. I didnt try to reload my save and repeat it and its never happened again but it sure did make the game a little more interesting.

welcome to the internet my friend -
also I absolutely used a leveling mod. ooo has the most common leveling mod in it.
The game would not even be interesting to me without it. Theres no way i would have finished it. -

Great answer? Leave some superlatives for my answer then!

I recomend these mods
sentient weapon probably the coolest mod
the legacy about the best quest addition. -
. I hoping that a "real" RPG like KOTOR or Baldur's Gate will come to the PC soon.

It won't happen, but I'm actually hoping for a 2D version of Fallout3.
Man, that's funny on so many levels.
I beat oblivion.
