I went through about 80% of all the main quests in oblivion and shivering isles.

I did some user made quests too like the legacy, the butcher of armindale.

I used about 2 gb of mods including ooo ( dont play this game without ooo)

I think its the best game i ever played. I was so addicted. I took a month break even and when i started again i was up all night addicted. "just one more quest."

I cant wait until fallout 3 ( although I bet there is another expansion for oblivion first)

I wouldnt even want fallout 3 to be made by the orignal fallout people. Forget about them, I want the people who made oblivion to make it. Much better made game.

And you know back in the day i played morrowind and i never was interested enough to finish it. This game is much better. The only game I can think of I give a 10 to in years was half life 2. But this is a better game.

The game never ends technically but the drama is much less at this point just trying to cover every inch of the world and own a billion gold or something.

    Congratulations.

I just started playing. Great fun but mine will randomly crash (very annoying).

    What's the ooo mod?

    obscuros oblivion overhaul.

If youre just starting, stop. You have to start a new game to use that mod.

I think the game without it is a waste of time.

Really? I thought it was the most overrated, most bland and sexless RPG ever.

    Thanks for ruining my day.
Tell you what, why don't we leave a classic *and very different* RPG franchise which has its own unique strengths alone, instead of turning it into Oblivion 2? If you want Oblivion 2, then wait for Oblivion 2. But don't ruin the games the rest of us might be looking forward to. :(

What drama... Almost as epic a storyline as The Sims.

Oh, and Oblivion itself is hopelessly broken. You said it yourself. You *need* a ton of mods to get any enjoyment out of it. They've made so incredibly bad design decisions that it's not even funny. What kind of idiot decided that the monsters should level with you so you actually benefit most from *never* levelling?

    I'm depressed now :(

I dont know what happened but i have a little over 6 million gold right now. I finished one of the "kill the vampire" quests and a bug/glitch handed me ~5.9mil in gold as a reward. I didnt try to reload my save and repeat it and its never happened again but it sure did make the game a little more interesting.

Im not sure you understand, that fallout 3 is the next project for the developer team that made oblivion.

also I absolutely used a leveling mod. ooo has the most common leveling mod in it.

The game would not even be interesting to me without it. Theres no way i would have finished it.

I completely agree with you. Oblivion is bland and lacks depth yet it is extremely addicting as well because of it's open ended nature. I must have put in around 120 hours of gameplay into Oblivion but I "only" had fun the first 50 hours. The rest of the time I was suffering from some kind of Obssesive compulsive quest-completition disorder :p . I hoping that a "real" RPG like KOTOR or Baldur's Gate will come to the PC soon.

I found senseless violence against all the annoying-but-essential NPC's, followed by repeated Quick Loads extremely entertaining in Fallout 2.

It won't happen, but I'm actually hoping for a 2D version of Fallout3.

    LOL

Man, that's funny on so many levels.
