Hey guys, i just recently ordered an asus g2s-b1, so now im looking for some good fps to play on my new laptop. I currently play counterstrike,dod,bf2,star wars bf2, and cod2. I was wondering, what are some good fps with a lot of players that i should look into buying? Also, do a lot of people play f.e.a.r combat? Enough to make it worth the download? Thanks a ton.

Btw just for reference my specs are as follows:
    2 gigs ddr2
    nvidia 8600m gt 256 gddr3
    intel t7700 2.4 ghz

FEAR is huge. It's definitly worth the download. On the 9th of October Half Life 2: Orange Box comes out. Bioshock is a great game (singleplayer). Also you could look into Halo 2 for Vista.

Well since you like BF2 BF2142 is the natural choice

I LOVED BF2, and BF2142 took abit of getting used too, however once it sinks it I think it is a much better game and definitly the most fun I have had in a FPS game since back in the day with jedi knight and unreal tournament.

BTW Unreal Tournament 2004 is a great/cheap game that has endless things to do since it has custome maps and many game modes and alot of people play it still aswell, best yet even older computers run it great.

Could try Team fortress 2, it's awsome, definitely lives up to the hype.

Or you could check out some of the multiplayer HL2 mods, ALOT of them have tons of people playing, check www.hl2mods.co.uk

REally, there's a TON of MP FPS games, just a shame Bioshock ISNT MP :(

I can't believe I forgot this when i first posted. I've been waiting for this game for about 3 years now. Ever since Blizzard North broke away from Bliz. Flaship is releasing Hellgate London on Halloween. It will have a FPS aspect so FPS lovers should enjoy the game. It will have a huge multiplayer aspect as well. There will be two versions of the online play, one free and a subscriber version which will grant you enchanced beniefits.

    HELLGATE LONDON!
