it will ask me for the 'Play disc'; is there any way to load the play disk into the laptop so I don't have to carry the disc around with me? I don't have this problem with 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein'.

Search on gamecopyworld.com for a NoCD crack. It sucks how many different links you have to go to to finally get what you want, but it's worth it.
Since I'm feeling generous, I'll try to find what you need for you. -
yea...go 2 www.megagames.com ...and then go 2 trainers on the left side link...then find unreal II...and then clik on "game fixes"...and find the no-cd file..where u put the file u download in the same spot as the real file in the game directory as in program files->unreal II...and then u dont need 2 put the disk in again 2 play it

You guys are outstanding, thanks for the links. I'll give them a try.

MegaGames > GameCopyWorld
Thanks LuckMC11, even I have benefited from this thread.
I'd find the NoCD cracks for you but I don't know what version you are running, and it's easy enough to do. -
yea..Elias...megagames is much easier to find the no-cd cracks than gamecopy world...lol...and no problemo
-
Also, you can always use Daemon Tools, or Alcohol 120% to create ISO's.
And run it from there -
yea...but ISO's take up 2 much space on the hard drive...don't they??
-
True...
Hmmm....well...
Storage can be for an external HD while the internal HD could be used for stuff like .ISO's, etc...
Dunno, I'm not really into cracks and stuff -
oooo...i jus use the no-cd cracks...they take up the same amount of space as the .exe file in the game directory itself...so that really is the way 2 go..and u never have 2 put the disk into the drive...ever!!!!...which is great..cuz im jus 2 lazy 2 put a disc to play a game into and out of a drive...lol...but if there were no cracks...then i would still put the discs in and take it out anyway

Thanks guys, megagames did the trick. Now I can sit outside Starbucks and work with a bit of play.
I installed 'Unreal II' but everytime I want to play
