I modified Cat 12.11 b11 and gained 6fps in crysis 1 and vantage went up a few hundred

Write "AMD RULEZ" in some editor with the AMD driver and you instantly get 10% better performance.
But just remember to be connected to the internet since AMD have to know about it when you do it. Otherwise you will just be writing something stupid with no gains

LOL you will also most probably gain a ton of deaths in the game too

If done correctly your caps lock will flash however many times a second to that of you fps.

Not trying to troll but I can't see what you could change other than deleting features. I mean, if it was so easy amd would have done it theirselves, they have experienced teams who do this as a full time job...

they optimise for certain games not overall performance!

it's not about turning off features in facts it's mainly enabling them, like demo mode for example but of course you knew that like the others do because you know exactly what im doing because your in the same room as im in, in fact I can see you on the couch..or your presumptious and wrong and disrespectful.

edit. and no it's not easy.. its harder then the haptic programming i do for fun. I cause quite a few crashes ect and lost performance in most cases I spent over 20 hours for 150-200 point gain in vantage but in the end it was worth it. why? because now I can play metro 2033 and farcry 3 maxed out which is cool...sure its not a steady 30fps its more like 26 fps but i find that playable and the lag doesnt affect my aim so who cares

 

No trolling? Why didn't you say so? In that case, you ought to be hired by AMD/nVidia! And a singled out screenshot is no indication of overall gameplay performance. If you want to be taken seriously, make a serious noteworthy documentation of your changelog, instead of posting more isolated screenshots. Here's to seeing what work you've done with closed AMD source codes.

 

want more proof.. everyone knows metro 2033 can't be maxed with a 6990m without some magic. well look at these pictures outside where its more demanding..inside i get 50-60 fps

now use that info and try to make my config perform..like I said these people have no idea what im doing and jump to conclusions fast. I still have yet to post the tweaked driver..it will take weeks.

 

You should apply for AMD, you're obviously a lot more talented than their driver team. Congrats!

 

actually I was thinking of calling AMD and seeing if I could tweak their drivers and if they could send me more resources to work with. and pay me a flat rate of 1000 cad a month with the promise of gains higher than 1 percent. they might you never know...

I have worked in a LAB before I have programming experience...ect ect.. like I said my grammar might not be that good but it sure as heck doesnt imply im dumb in anyway...perhaps just lazy when it comes to things

 

What you've done there is not system programming. They're mere application-layer level .inf tweaks which could easily be found across the web, such as here, here or here. They don't count as a performance improvement because you haven't even remotely reconfigured how the driver firmware "speaks" to the available hardware. In other words, you've not possibly created room for improved performance, let alone improved performance. They're tweaks, so if you're seeing an increased FPS, that's due to features being toggled down and/or disabled as how in your post several options are changed from '1' to '0'. Consumers paying for high-end hardware would never use your driver when they could just as easily reduce video/graphics detail level settings ingame, as per their leisure/preference (against yours). For the record however, I appreciate your effort in posting something other than those screenshots, and we would never troll you for your english vocabulary, or rather the lack of.

 

LOL that is not Metro2033 on max settings. Either you are lying or you have disabled a ton of visual features through your driver modding (which makes your game a whole lot less than max settings).

7970M which is faster than 6990M in CF get 29FPS @ Max settings. I smell something fishy
