I would like to introduce issetstyles.com, a new site that provides torrents for files like game demos, game patches, game trailers, movie trailers, and drivers for video cards, motherboard, etc.

What I would like from you guys are some ideas for files to host.

I will NOT host anything that could even remotely be considered pirated. I have a zero tolerance policy for this type of thing. But now that that is out of the way:

    GIMME YOUR SUGGESTIONS!

If you find any that are free or any demos of them, no problem.

And about Ubuntu, there are already torrents out there hosted from the main ubuntu site.

I'll second Ubuntu and probably a few other linux distros like mint and SUSE which seem to be the most popular besides ubuntu, and D**n Small Linux.

Game mods would be a good idea too.

Its not a big deal to make a linux category on the tracker website, but I seriously doubt that I will be enabling server side seeding for them, like all the other files I have uploaded right now. I may for one or two brand new releases, but only then.

Any specific game mods you want up there?

Some of the larger sized game demo's(like the 720p Dragon Age ones) would be nice to have them combined as a single torrent.

Modpacks for game with lots of mods would be nice too, having 50 ready on your HD even if you just need 7, or being able to selectively downloading 7 of them.

There are tons of free DOS game demos and freeware stuff...you could at least link to them and to DOSBox if you're running that kind of a site.

You link me to those sites and I will see what I can do.

I just uploaded the Call of duty WaW Multiplayer demo, and nVidia's newest drivers in all flavors. Right now I am updating the forum software that runs everything to the newest stable version.

I lied about not having server side linux downloads. I got my curl script working.

I needs to know what type of files peoples want!

I see you put up the world at war beta, but I hate to break it to you, it's already closed so it's unplayable.

what was the point of making another torrent site? we already have too many; they have pretty much consolidated into isohunt, mininova and thepiratebay so people can search on those 3 and they know they will find what they are looking for 99.9% of the time, i know i do; anything that's not on there is most likely free to download from filefront or another hosting site thus people dont make torrents for the files since noone wants to waste upload bandwidth on things that can be leeched for free from centralized file-hosting sites like Fileshack

the only 'alternative' tracker sites that survive are the private seed/leech counters that provide guarranteed seeding ratios to members

I just want to make it clear that:

THIS IS IN NO WAY OFFICIAL

Notebookreview's users are not connected to this in ANY way.

    That is all.

Meh, wasting bandwidth of downloaders only to find out they can't play.
