    Hello, is there anyone from USA that could help me buy a few steam games?

    I refuse to buy them for twice the price they cost in Europe

    Games are Sonic, Bulletstorm and red faction armageddon

    Why do games cost 2x as much in Europe? Is it because of VAT?

    I am not sure, its not all games but many. I guess maybe because Steam is US based and dont care much about Europe :

    the publishers set prices per region. valve apparently encourages developers to make their prices match reasonably, but they can't force them to sell at any particular price.
