I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times over but...

Where does the CF 3870 stand in relation to the 9800M GTS/GT/GTX and sli configs? And how would a 280M GTX compare against CF 3870s? I ask this because I'm looking at a sager NP5757 with T9800 and 280M for 2100 as well as the whitebook (with raid 320s, t9800, 3870s) for 2500. I know the Asus W90 probably the best bang for the buck in this range, but I'm waiting to see if issues resolve. Probably going to sell my current laptop for one of these.

As far as I know, the 3870's in Crossfire score higher than the 9800GTs SLI'd in 3DMark06, but in games it's the other way around. For the GTX 280M, I haven't seen any benchmarks on it yet, well, except on notebookcheck.com, but I'd rather have one more powerful card rather than 2 that are good but less powerful. Personally, I am waiting to see the 4870's in the Whitebook/M17, that's when I'll make my next move. :D

By the way, what are the problems in the Asus W90?
