Too bad that this will be the last beta weekend and the point this time will not be for you to play the game, rather than test the stability of servers, the main purpose will be to check server crashes and lag issues.

I remember when Blizzard sent me my Starcraft 2 Beta invite two days after the beta ended.

They made up for it by letting me test Cataclysm, though :D

I got in too, but I couldn't justify the 20gigs, mostly because I couldn't be bothered to delete anything to make enough room lol

Let us know how it goes

I was finally accepted myself into the weekend beta when Skyrim launched, and regretfully I didn't play as much as I wanted due to that. This weekend I've been accepted again, however, and will be able to put Skyrim aside for some pure TOR goodness.

I had a lot of fun with the limited time of the beta I had. Playing a sith sorcerer, hopefully my character is still there for this beta weekend as well.

I will never play SWTOR III.... I & II are one of the best games ever! Especially the first one. Was so angry when I found out they were going to make a MMO

What? It's a completely different game. It happens 300 years after the KOTOR games.

I know it's a completely new game, that's why I won't play it... I don't believe it will ever capture the same atmosphere from the first two games...

Bioshock didn't capture the feel from the first 2 KotOR games either, but that doesn't automatically make it not worth playing.

I like Star Wars, and I will be looking for a new MMO when I get back from deployment, but this one won't be it.

I've never really cared for theme park MMOs, and this one is as theme park as they get. I played WoW on and off for years, and never really enjoyed it once I found out it was only a grind to grind more stuff so that you can grind more stuff. I don't need people to tell me how to play my mmo, I should be able to play it the way I want.

Also something that really bugs me. A lightsaber should be able to cut through anything because it's a lightsaber...it shouldn't take 20 swings to kill a rat (or w/e the star wars equivalent is). Plus the combat is slow and the graphics look awful.

me too, i personally would choose SWBF 3 over SWTOR

When you hit a 10hp rat for 1hp, the game engine is abstracting that you grazed it or cut off its tail or ear.

It is possible to kill someone (or something) with weapons that are considerably less potent than a lightsaber (including your bare knuckles) in a single blow... but many factors contribute to actually doing so. Any HP-based system is abstracting for the point of balance and ease-of-use.

I have always found Star wars MMOs to be fail, and don't really see a point to playing anything but Sith given how powerful they are portrayed. (it took an entire army to defeat a couple Sith lords who even in defeat killed so many jedi and every other "class" or "profession" that it isn't even funny)
