Nvidia, you are the biggest bunch of ****s in the hardware industry. You must be well ****ing aware now of the HUGE unfixable problem of random downclockings and take no ****ing responsibility. Apparently I'm supposed to be happy wit having to restart my system every few minutes.
I am ****ing sick of this. No drivers have even begun to remedy this effect and you continue to ignore this.
The money I spent on this new laptop is a complete ****ing waste thanks to your lazy ****ing bull****

Which laptop are referring to?

Nvidia sucks, both of my desktop cards in SLI melted a year ago, and Alienware sucks too.
-
Alright just chill and try this. It will stop your gpu from downclocking while plugged in or even on battery if you would like that. It worked for me, now I get full graphics power while plugged in.

Statistics report that 2 out of 5 users are not satisfied with their end products...
*looks at number of posts* -

1 out of 2 people don't even know what drivers are that buy a laptop, see I can make up statistics too! Which leads me to agree with the OP because you shouldn't have to tweak your laptop to make it work, you don't see people with ATI cards downloading drivers to make their computer work. -

Hi Kittie been a while.
Yea this is a mess! I am sitting watching how it unfolds. I am convinced the full extent of the problem is being withheld from us the consumer.
Sadly I have doubts equatable resolution of this situation would be possible so those affected sorry. -
