Don't think this has been posted yet...

id's entire back catalog has been released on Steam. Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, the Quake and Doom series, it's all there. :D Special 10% discount on some of the games, and huge discounts for bundles: I'm extremely tempted by the prospect of owning the entire Quake series (including expansion packs, but alas, no Quake 4) for $26.

And if you don't feel like buying anything, there are downloadable demos for Quake II, Quake III Arena, Hexen II and Doom 3.

I hope Steam keeps this up with the old-school/classic games. This is great.

I know. I used to hate STEAM. But now with being able to have access to all my old games that I registered with STEAM (even though I lost the CD's :p) I'm starting to like it.
