    Hey all,

I'm trying to find out some info on the new IGP's in notebooks. The nVidia 105 and ATI 3200 to be specific.

I guess what I'm really wondering is if they will deliver performance as good or better than an ATI x1600 XT. I'm thinking they will as that's a pretty low performing card (it wasn't all that fast when it was new), but figured I'd see what you guys thought as well.

The HD3200 is a decent performer, but it won't match an x1600. Not sure what an Nvidia 105 is though. Do you mean the 9400M?

Well first, OP was asking about the X1600 XT, which is a desktop card. And second I think the Mobility X1600 should be quite a lot faster than the ATI 3200, regardless their 3dmark scores.

Yeah, desktop card not the laptop version.

And sheesh, I figured that modern IGP's would be faster than an old desktop card that wasn't that fast to begin with.

And thanks for the link Isend.
