What inf file should I use for the Gateway P-7805u (9800M GTS) when installing the Dox optimized 182.50 drivers? Should I just create one with the laptopvideo2go tool?

Thanks and sorry for the n00b question.

does the one from laptopvideo2go.com not work?

on a side note, modding .infs can be a bit painstaking.

Why are you asking for what inf? The 9800M GTS should install when you run the .exe and select quality/balance/performance driver settings. I dont require the need to replace the inf with a modded one with my drivers.

modded infs from laptopvideo2go will not work with my drivers since it will ask for missing files, and some the settings in there will conflict with the low level settings of the .dll files. Also using mobility modder will conlflict with what I do.

Try that if you have not done so.

If you have already tried that and it has not installed, then give me your OS and Device ID for your card and I'll add support for it the next time round.

Thanks for the replies. From the man himself, no less! :)

Looks like the download was corrupted. As soon as I re-downloaded, it installed fine.

The reason I asked in the first place was that before it would give me an error halfway through that this card type was not supported, so I wanted to use a custom INF to add it. Like I said though, it was just the download.

PS - Your drivers are awesome. :D
