    Hello all, I just updated to the 169.17 drivers and OC'd to a modest 590/490. I tried to run 3dmark06 and I get this error:

    Idirect3DVertexBuffer9::Lock failed: n/a (Unknown)

    I'm booted up into Vista Ultimate x64, and I just installed SP1 RC. Any clues what is going on?

    I did see on a forum elsewhere that setting my ram to 2GB 800 (I'm assuming 800MHZ) would help...but my ram is only 667, so I don't think that will matter.

    Thanks!

    I was in the process of installing Driversweeper as you posted. That did the trick :p

    I tried the .21s and didn't see any benchmark increase over the .17s...but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Too bad I don't own any games to test things out with.

    Thanks for the help.

    Call of Duty 4 would be a good start. :)

    Glad, you got it fixed.
