    Hello

I have nvidia optimus but somehow I also have the 3d vision folder which has *enable 3d vision and *disable 3d vision* so my question is if I disabled the 3d vision would this improve the battery life on the laptop or would this affect the hardware/software side of the graphics card making it unstable

Usually 3D laptops come with a 120Hz screen and that is what chomps up battery life, not the 3D itself. You can't do anything about it if this is the case, except maybe replace your screen with a regular panel running at 60Hz.

does your laptop have a 120hz screen specifically for 3d vision, most laptops require glasses as well, but if you dont, then enabling or disabling 3d vision wont have any effect on your machine because it doesnt support it in the first place.

No. Do you have 3D? If not, ignore it.
