    Im at a loss and Rockstar is no Help.....

    GTA 4 is a PC disaster at our office. We are all on Dell laptops that range from 1 year old to 4 months old and all were top of then line at their production. GTA 4 will not run on any of our laptops, even though we all meet the minimum requirements. I have been on the phone will Rockstar, Dell, and Nvidia for 2 days. Basically Rockstar has told me that the driver for our Vid. cards are not the latest version even though it is and that we are pretty much out of luck unless Nvidia comes out with a new driver. How in the world could Rockstar come out with game that doesnt appear to work on ANY laptop! Im sure someones runs it but not that I have heard so far. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated, I will attach my DXDIAG.

    download 180.70 and the modified .inf and you'll be good to go.

    I'm running it on a laptop and it runs reasonably in 1024x640 with the settings lowered, in XP. Looks great imo despite needing some AA.

    So you can run it on a laptop.

    The drivers I'm using are 180.48 from laptopvideo2go
