Been looking at Crysis Warhead and Far Cry 2...already playd COD 4.

I love shotguns...so whatever game has good shotgun selection and feel plus is a modern game id go for it.

I have a gtx 295 and an i7 processor plus 8 gigs ram so give me the best!

    Thanks!

+1 to left 4 dead, you would love the semi-automatic shotgun
also Team Fortress 2 is a good all around game

Well, it doesn't have a good shotgun selection, but I think any FPS fan should play through the Half Life 2 and its episodes at least once.

Also, you can pick up portal and team fortress 2 while you're at it by getting the Orange Pack

Does left 4 dead have decent graphics and more than one shotgun to choose from?

also is it just shooting zombes or is there more to it?

They're really not that bad. I mean, even Source or HL2 on max settings with HDR look pretty (What is it?) 5 years from the original release. Don't except Crisis level graphics, but it's not slouch. And the co-op gameplay is top notch.

FEAR 2 was released Feb 10, 2009 in North America. It's gotten pretty good reviews. There is a demo, so I recommend you try it before buying it. If you can find the original FEAR, that's a great game too.

The ones I have been playing a lot lately and enjoy so much are all of the Brothers in Arms series.

Can never go wrong with Team Fortress 2 imo, and for fun L4D is good but it depends on what you want in a game. Daresay, COD series or even CS:S?

I liked it. I enjoyed Crysis more though, and the story line in Crysis is the main story line, as to Warhead is a sidekick to the original Crysis.

I would recommend playing Crysis before Crysis Warhead, so you understand what's goin on.

But either way, they are both good FPS.

As to Left 4 Dead, you get 2 Shotguns (Pump and Semi), 2 Assault (Uzi and Automatic Assault Rifle), a Sniper Rifle, as-well as Molotov's, Grenades (when thrown, the Zombies all huddle around it, blowing them all up), Pain pills, and Med-Kits.

The Zombies are the regular horde, Hunters (pounce on you and leave you incapitated), Smokers (pull you far distances and leave you incapitated), Boomers (vomit on you and cause a Horde ambush of ALOT of Zombies), Witches (Gun sounds, flashlights, staring disturb them and then attack you leaving you incapacitated), and Tanks (which can incapacitate you and/or kill you and everyone else in one life).

You can play Campaign with you and 3 bots, or Co-op Campaign which is you and 3 other people, or Multiplayer, which is you, 3 other Survivors/Zombies, against 4 other people Survivors/Zombies.

Graphics are good, and this game is a GREAT buy. I have logged countless hours playing it, and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Fallout 3 is an amazing game too, if you are into FPS/RPG.

CoD5 has a great campaign, zombies, and more CoD4 type mulitiplayer. Graphics are a step up from CoD4 and might put a strain on your rig at 2560 x 1600 16x QAA...

...wow the game actually scales that high?! I know there are monitors at that Res i didnt realize game had the capability to go there.

Anyway Fallout 3 only because its the type of shooter that will have you playing for like a month how can you beat that?

I am worried that fallout 3 is more RPG...and if I blast someone in the head with a 12 guage from 3 feet away they will still be alive with half HP to spare :( blech...

Yes, I agree 100%. Left 4 Dead is mainly for Multiplayer. So if you are into Solo stuff, Crysis, Crysis Warhead is a good fit.
