I have a fujitsu S6210 with UP TO 64mb of shared video ram. How do I find out how much shared ram it is currently set at, and how can I increase it to 64? I have looked in the BIOS, but found no such option. Maybe I just missed it though. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how to check how much is currently being used. Unfortunately you cannot set the amount, the computer automatically adjusts the amount depending on how much it needs.

So the computer adjusts the amount by itself? I had never heard of that. I always thought that the user had to set the amount...like 8mb or 64mb. Thanks.

Normally, if the system has the option to adjust video memory, it's located in the BIOS, Display Properties or possibly the Control Panel/seperate folder where some extra utilities are installed. If they're not available, you may be stuck with 64MB.

An easy way to find out how much video memory you have allocated, is to run DXDIAG from the Start -> Run box. When it pops up, click on the DISPLAY tab and it should tell you how much video memory you have.
