    ive read a few reviews about it (gamespy 8.5) but what do you guys think? worth the 20 bucks?

    You would probably do good to read some reviews.

    I played it and it is an adventure game. I does have a few "action sequences" but the main point of an adventure game is to tell a story. It does that well imo.

    Good adventure games are far and few between now adays, I would recommend this one.

    My friend raves about it, one of his favourite games of recent times. As said above, more story based than action. Imagine something like Sam n Max or Monkey Island, but with more adult themes multiple possible endings, and you get the idea.
