This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Infinity Ward's Jason West fired by Activion, security personnel everywhere

    I saw this over at the MW2 section on the Steam forums. Apparently Jason West and Vince Zampella of Infinity Ward have been in meetings with Activision today, while "bouncer-type" security personnel have been hanging around at Infinity Ward. In a recent update, it turns out Jason West was fired by Activision.

    At this point it's all speculation, but some people theorize that IW has been trying to resist Activision's attempts to ruin the Call of Duty franchise for profit...if that's the case, more power to them. I guess we'll see how this all plays out.
