    Inspiron 1720 and xps1730, same chassis?

    Is Dell following the same over all scheme as they did with the 1705 and xps1710 and using the over all same chassis? Also is there a relatively high chance that when the more powerful GPU's hit with the xps1730 that it will be possible to drop one in a 1720? I'm leaning more towards the "yes" side(mostly out of wishful thinking :p ) but just wanted some good ol nbr input :D

    I'm pretty sure it's not the same motherboard and it's definitely not the same chassis. Considering the external port layouts are dissimiliar is the biggest reason why the motherboards are not the same.

    I doubt it considering the xps will offer sli graphics in addition to an onboard physics processor.
