Just a general about drivers. Say I want to use different video drivers than the one factory installed on the m1330. In installing them, is it necessary to uninstall the factory installed drivers first? Is this the same for all other drivers as well?

in general, you shouldn't have to unistall the old drivers just install the new ones inplace of the old ones. Though sometimes they can be stubborn and that's when you will have to unistall the old ones and then install the new ones.

Yup, but once you have the drivers uninstalled, i don't think you can use the driver rollback feature in case you decided to revert back to the factory installed drivers.
