I have two partitions on my harddrive.
C:\ (Windows and Applications Are Here)
D:\ (Media and Games Are Here)
C has the basic Windows Structure etc...
D, does not, its just D, and blank.
So when I want to install a game there I have to choose a different install path in D, so I have to create its own folder for it in D.
It works, but then if the game has a CFG file located in the Application Data folder, that folder does not exist in the D partition.
So, I cannot access that file.
What am I doing wrong with D:\?
What should I do before I install games to it?
Basically my games are isolated from the windows + apps partition.
Thankyou so much, im almost pulling my hair out I have no idea what to do!![]()

So basically, i cant install any games till I figure out how to install my games and stuff on this d:\ partition.

The applications data folder is located on your c:\. In Windows XP it will be located, C:\Documents and Settings\*User Name*\Application Data\ . Many games use this folder rather than the main install directory.
I don't think you're doing anything wrong at all, it's very common that people install their games on seperate drives/partitions. -

But when I installed Flight Simulator X on a separate partition I couldn't find the FSX.CFG file.
