    Hi Guys,
Is there a guide on how to install the 7900gs into a Inspiron 9400? I hear its a very good card :)
Is it worth upgrading from an x1400?

    Many Thanks!

In this case he can, but not to the 7900GS. This thread for which upgrade options are available and this thread for how to do the upgrade.

Make sure it's a "single pipe" version of the 7900gs.

You can actually install a go 7950gtx in your E1705, but it will require a bit of case modding. I was going to do that, but then I decided that I didn't want to void my warranty. :D
