Hi guys, when I play games unplugged with the integrated videocard (Intel HD 4600) it gets stuck at 399 MHz while it should clock at 1199 MHz. Its clock states work great while plugged though.

System, Intel and Clevo powerplans are already checked and both of them are on high performance profiles.

BTW, the laptop is a Clevo P650.

Try to install XTU and see if clocks changes, update your gpu driver :)

what sort of games are you trying to play. and has your lappy also got the 970 dedicated graphics card as well.
intel graphics are more for your every day use and not really gaming especially high end games and its always recommended to game on mains power only.
i know this is the case for the hd4000 but the hd4600 is slightly more powerful so i might be talking rubbish.

I know, just asking for getting more battery life while gaming casual games like LoL or Fifa. Both of them should run perfectly with the integrated one but obviously they have low framerrate because of the low clock of the intel.

I use to check clocks with XTU, so don't really know what to do.

I think the BIOS is the problem.. It must be causing the Intel GPU to throttle.. My 3940XM allows GPU Ocing and I can lock the GPU clocks but the 4710HQ won't allow that since it is a non-extreme processor.. Your'e best bet is to use your 970/980M in battery boost mode or well, flash Prema's modded BIOS and well mess around with any settings it makes available in BIOS...

    Throttling? Why?

I can lock the speed while plugged. I have it locked to 1199 MHz.

The main issue remains with battery.

Not enough juice to game on battery maybe.
    So it throttles down

Its not throttling its bios or windows/driver limit on battery, check intel graphics control panel and make sure its set up for max performance there when on battery.

    Already checked.

No chance for having lack of juice as the gtx 970m works like a charm with battery.

Well the BIOS is throttling it.. As for 970M, it works due to NVIDIA's battery boost thing helping the GPU to run as well as it can on battery power..

Uninstall or disable clevo control center. It artificially limits performance of igp
