Hi everybody, I believe i have problem which is w7 or maybe my 4500MHD. From the main i will say that I know 4500mhd is not good for gaming, but anyway funniest things is. My friend have older pc than my he have hp with x3100 2gb and I have Samsung r509 with 3gb and 4500mhd, and cpu dual cores. We both have w7, but when he plays such a old game as counter strike he always have 100fps, and when I play counter strike i have from 40~100. And itÂ’s really jumping. So this is only one of example, because I even saw lots of gaming in YouTube like COD4 in low rez and its goes really smooth, so I tried to downloaded and play it and it was really awful so maybe the problem is in w7 (because I have latest drivers and etc.

CPU's make a difference too. Your combination of a weak cpu and no GPU is more than likely the problem, not Windows 7.

    I know, I looked it up :)

T3400 is pretty weak. I have a similar T5400 with an 8400 GS video card (Windows Vista), and I do not get 100 fps on any level of CS, not even the video test. More like ~60-80 fps.

I doubt the T4300 would give such bad performance though, I recall having a single core and could run CS at very high FPS(I forgot the number so I'll try looking it up again); mind you I had a desktop 9600 GT GPU and Windows XP.

I do agree however that the combination is a bit weak. What exact specs does your friend have?

Well, A T4300 is a good jump up from a T3400, but I agree. CS certainly isn't CPU limited, and the fact that he's getting 40+ fps is pretty good considering the lack of dedicated graphics. Would be interested to see the specs his friend has as well.

Oops sorry that was a typo lol, I meant a T3400 :p But yeah, I doubt any dual core CPU would limit CS, but his performance is good since CS isn't a very demanding game.
