How is this for gaming? I did a test on srtest.com and it said that Core Duo's are 2 Pentium 3 processors. So even though there's 2, doesn't it make it bad that they're Pentium 3?

The core duo is it's own new processor, the Yonah core. Most definitely not a Pentium 3.
If you must make it comparable to another pentium, it would be closest to a pair of Pentium M cores.
Mine works really good for gaming. I am able to run Oblivion at medium settings using a 1.83GHz core duo. I'm very satisfied with it.

Oh really? That's good then. Just a question. Out of my laptop and yours, which is more powerful? I have the Acer Aspire 5072.

    Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz
    1GB DDR2
    512mb X1400 Hypermemory
    100GB 5400rpm HD
    15.4" WXGA CrystalBrite LCD

For gaming, yours is more powerful. The 7400 and the x1400 are in the same class, but the x1400 is a better card.

Excellent replies. The GPU matters much more than the processor for gaming - go for whatever laptop has a better GPU, in this case, the X1400.

Is the X1400 really that more powerful than the 7400 to compensate for the difference in CPU speed and RAM?

Yes, the 128-bit memory bus makes a definite difference. I'd go with a lower Duo + X1400 over a higher Duo + Go7400.
