    Hey!

    I want to buy the Dell i9400, and my question is if there is a big different between the
    -Intel Core Solo T1300(1.66 GhZ)
    -Intel Core Duo T2400(1.83 GhZ)?
    I want to buy this laptop for gaming!

    I would definitely go for the Core Duo - there are some games that can take advantage of dual cores right now, and I am sure that there will be more to come.

    The Core Solo is a complete waste in my opinion. It is a Core Duo, but has one of the cores turned off. You shouldn't see any noticable difference between it and a comparable Pentium M.

    If you are going to get one of the new Intel-based notebooks, go for a Duo.
