    Hello

I'm writing here because my knowledge about Video Cards is poor... I have just bought MAXDATA Notebook:
Chipset: Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family
    Graphics: Intel GMA 950
    Proc: Intel Core 2 CPU T7200 (2 x 2GHz)
    RAM: 1GB
O/S: Win XP Home SP 2

I have installed all drivers from MAXDATA Utility CD, then I have updated it with latest graphic card and chipset drivers (taken from Intel website), and installed DirectX 9.0c(from NFS Carboon CD) and finally installed Lineage 2 Chronicle 4.

I run Lineage 2 and there is one thing I can't understand. In video tab, "Shader" option is disabled (it is grey and I can't change it). My friend has got ATI integrated graphic card on his Notebook and he has this option enabled... I have read that Intel GMA 950 provides Pixel Shader so I wonder why I can't use it in L2

Mabye I did something wrong or have to enable it somewhere else.
If anybody can advise me what can I do... please post :)

PS: I know that Intel GMA 950 is not the best solution for gaming but L2 works on it quite good and this "Shader" option don't let me sleep ^^

It is more likely than not that the option is disabled because the GMA only supports one setting for shaders...and that is whatever quality level you are seeing. You can't turn up the heat because the GPU cannot burn any hotter so to speak.
