    Hey guys, first post.

Im upgrading from an e1405 to the new vostro 1500. The e1405 has the Intel GMA 950 and the vostro has the 8400M GS. Can anyone tell me which card is better for gaming? My guess is the 8400M GS but im not sure.

Also, can anyone help me find a list of compatible games for the 8400M GS?

    Thanks :)

The 8400M GS will massacre the 950 in anything. While it's still not as powerful as an 8400M GT, it can hold its own.

Without a doubt the 8400 GS will be better. The Intel chip is an integrated graphics chip, which cannot compete with dedicated graphics (i.e. the 8400M GS).
As for lists, I don't know any, but I'm sure someone can help you out. Check this thread out for info on the 8400 performance:

C&C will run fine. Native Res, Medium-low graphics. If you can, get the 8400m GT, or if you have an option get the 8600 series GT is prefered.
