How fast (or slow) is the core of the Intel HD on the new Intel ULVs? Somewhere I read 166Mhz which would make them puny even compared to the X4500MHD...somewhere it says 500Mhz, which would make at least usable, so whats the true speed?

It should perform about 30% better than the 4500MHD. The reason you are getting different results for the speeds of it is because of the turbo boost feature. When the GPU is under load, it will clock up to it's full speed at about 500Mhz, and when it is not under load or intensive tasks, it will clock down to 166Mhz, thus saving a lot of battery. You needn't worry, as it generally a fair bit more powerful.

the GMA HD will be much better due to new architecture.. 30% should be a good estimate on how much powerful it is but the ATI and NVDIA integrated solutions still beat it.
