Hi I tryed to find some comparisons between old Intel HD4000 drivers and new drivers performance in games and I can't find it : ... I really want to know how much better is now HD4000 than when it was released... Like example Dirt 3, Company of Heroes, Worms games, Sims or others not much system demanding games... and maybe some games become possible to play which wasn't possible in past...

drivers will not help the HD4000 with dirt 3 but not sure about the other games.
for dirt 3 you need a dedicated graphics card
Dirt 3 Minimum System Requirements
o OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
o CPU: AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 2.8GHz, Intel Pentium® D 2.8Ghz
o RAM: 2GB
o Hard Disk Space: 15GB
o GFX: AMD RadeonTM HD 2000 256MB, NVIDIA® GeForce® 8000 Series 256MB
o DirectX®: DirectX® 9
o Sound: DirectX® compatible soundcard
[Minimum requirements are the bare minimum to get the game playing. In some cases you may even need to reduce the screen resolution.] -

HD 4000 runs great at 1280x720. High settings about 40FPS.

So it not that bad when.... I thaught games like Dirt 3 can only be played on minimum graphics... I have also read that integrated graphic cards have problems with compability especially HD3000 ... On the other hand HD4000 have a little bit better support .... I'm asking about this integrated card because aproximetly in a month will be released new Haswell procesors so maybe laptops with old procesors become a little bit cheaper than now.... So I can afford better class laptops like Dell Latitude 6**** , HP Probook and etc... But if they will be like really next generation procesors and integrated video cards have much better graphical power so when I think its worth to buy them (10-15 procent more fps for me isn't like true new generation but if it will be 40-50 procent more power I think its real new generation)
Thanks for replies. -
