Ok I inherited a HP Pavilion DV6000 with Vista 32bit, Core 2, and the Intel mobile graphics 950. I keep getting a rendering error whenever I want to play Ghost Recon Modern Warfare. I have searched all of the web and Intel website for a fix for this and I can't find any. Intel states that the game should work and everyone else with this card is having similar problems with this game and other games. Does anybody know a fix for this? even if it comes to replacing a video card on this...Thanks in advance.

Well for one, you can't replace the GPU. Period.
For two, Intel GREATLY exaggerated their charts detailing what the GMA950 could work with. From experience, I know they're false. -
best thing you can do is to try different drivers. but you cant really do much with the intel 950...gaming wise.

You can play Halo at 30fps with minimum settings.
EDIT: Go here for latest Vista GMA 950 Driver: Link -

Also the GMA 950 is OLD, the modern IGP from Intel is the GMA 965 which contain HW/TL for games like GRAW. The card is available in all notebook that inherit an Intel processor but without a dedicated card. GRAW is playable on it, but at the lowest settings.
