I got a Toshiba laptop with a T2310 Processor (1.46ghz), the Intel x3100, 1GB RAM and Vista Home Premium. I plan to upgrade to 2 GB RAM.

I plan to install my older games like Warcraft III, Diablo II, Heroes Of Might & Magic, Age Of Empires. I hope they run well.

I am aware it's not a gaming laptop but, do you think i can run some new games like Company of Heroes, Call Of Duty, Half Life 2, Command&Conquer3?
The question is what games may I be able to run with the T2310 and 2GB Ram?

Is it worth it to upgrade to 4GB of RAM, would it make a difference?

    I would apreciate your comments.

    Thanks..

Additional RAM will make no difference in gaming (in your case). Neither will the CPU. The X3100 here is the bottleneck. You shouldn't have trouble running those first couple of games (assuming its AoE2 and below) but the second group you mentioned will have to run on low/medium (HL2 and CoD). Company of Heroes is very demanding I doubt it will run.

Company of Heroes runs well on low settings (high textures, surprisingly) before patching to v2.00

That's great news Deify88! For what i've heard the t2310 is almost the same as the T5250..

the x3100 is comparable in graphics preformance to an original XBOX maybe a bit more with the right drivers. Any game that can play on the M$ xbox will run nice on your laptop. ;)

apparently half life 2 runs decently on the x3100 (lowish resolution and settings at or above 30 fps?)

and also apparently someone got cod4 running on an x3100, which is nothing short of a miracle, but i think it can be done, maybe even playable? low resolution and settings, again.
