I want to be play games on it too, i'm not expecting it too play anything really heavy like far cry 3 or skyrim.
Will it be able to run older games like call of duty 4, hitman blood money, gta san andreas, halo 2? etc
-
most probably not as even some of the older games need a dedicated graphics card even though nothing like the much more powerful ones you get today.
COD4 minimum spec: 128MB 3d Hardware Accelerated card required-100% DirectX 9.0c compatible and latest drivers (NVIDIA GeForce 6600+ / ATI Radeon 9800 Pro+)
blood money minimum: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible video card which supports Hardware TnL and Pixel Shader 2.0 (GeForce FX / Radeon 9500 or higher)

Probably. You can make anything run if you sacrifice enough detail and resolution. Here's the Asus Transformer with Intel Atom playing Tomb Raider. Would I like to play it with this detail and resolution through the whole game? Not really. But for 20-30 minute stretch it's ok time and again.

If your looking for a "cheap" gaming laptop try AMD APU based laptop.
They will be a bit better for gaming. -
Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
COD4 is quite old, circa 2008 graphics requirements. I've also run Source games okay at 720p on 4500M. The newest UMA shouldn't have a major issue with older titles.

CoD4 is quite a bit more demanding than Source games of that era.

I ran COD4 on an old 8600M GT at low resolution with no hassles, and the Intel HD3000 benchmarks better than an old 8600M GT. My point is that OP is realistic about the performance of the HD4600 and I don't think he'll run into issues running older titles.
Intel UMA shared Graphics??
