    Intel x3100 and SecondLife

    Has anyone tried running it on x3100?

    I have t5250 and 2gb of ram...

    Any comments would be appreciated.

    Second life is very poorly coded. Runs fairly choppy on the laptop in my sig. It does seem to be very CPU dependent though (and very dependent on the speed of the internet). My CPU can hit almost max and my gpu stays at near idle temps.

    It seemed to run very similer on my g/f's former Inspiron e1505 with an x1300.

    In other words, I think I was expecting more out of the visuals of the game. I think that laptop will do fine.

    hm, great it crashes during login process, i have no idea how to fix it and i honestly don't feel like wasting a whole day to find a solution, has anyone ever encountered this problem?

    prof. makes it mandatory to play.
