Just curious, since I started playing this casual MMORPG yesterday, would anybody be interested in me writing up a review of it? I've found most professions and have a couple levels in most of them.

IMO after the first day, it's a pretty fun game just because of the sheer volume of things to do, but they are all very well polished IMO. The combat is decent, and can be a little challenging, although with just one attack and one skill at start for at least a few levels, it's pretty simple. Mini-games are great, there is chess and checkers, along with a full trading card game that seems pretty well put together, with cards you can collect. They also have one of my favorite browser games, Tower Defense. There are a few different versions of it as well.

Anyways, it's a pretty fun free MMORPG so far, if not a little childish, but still really well put together. Plus, for the subscription to have access to all quests and professions, it is only $4.99 a month.

    So, any interest?

They have 3 million subscribers according to Gamespot, that should be some indication of a decent product.

You'd might as well contribute to the review pool then, I'm not fond of MMORPGs since they represent a ridiculously saturated market with little to no product longevity.

I kind of agree. The last REAL MMORPG I played was a LONG time ago with Asheron's Call, back when there was just Everquest. I played it because all my friends in school were really into it. Since then the only one I've really spent time with was Guild Wars.

I don't like most MMORPG's.... they just take too much time wasted grinding away.

Only reason I'm interested in this one is because I was looking for something my wife and a couple other friends could play all together. I looked back into Guild Wars but that takes a lot of time as well. None of them are really into the beat-em-up type games like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. So in the end I figured a MMORPG that is more casual than say WoW would probably fit the bill pretty easily, and I had never heard of Free Realms... mostly because it's only been out a month or two. So here we are.

The game has been out a little over month and has already over 3 million unique members. Growing fast. Really fast. o_o

It's like runescape of the new generation. Not to mention it's aimed for young kids, so people who would want a 'real' MMORPG should just wait for FF XIV.
