    Is there such a thing as live tv through the internet? Doesn't have to be free, thinking this would be a nice feature for my htpc.

    external tv tuner + amplified antenna? Its not really internet, but I think it will do what your looking for.

    Analog over-the-air signals don't work any more. They've been replaced with digital signals.

    Yes, you can even get a Mini-PCIe TV tuner for your notebook so that it's built in.

    I thought I heard a while back that there where some websites that offered live broadcasting for normal tv channels, but I can't seem to find any.

    You could try the P2P live tv thing, but I don't know how much it's improved since I last tried it. It almost certainly had to have gotten better. :rolleyes:
