Im looking at getting a new laptop here withing the next couple of weeks ive narrowed down my decision down to two laptops. One with a AMD A6 quadcore chip 2.3ghz and the Radeon HD 6520m graphics card, and the other Laptop an Intel i5 2410m chip 2.3(2.9 w/ boost) and the intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card. The only game that i will be playing will be iracing.com's sim racer. I would just like to know how either of these machines will play? Should I lean towards one machine or the other or will the both run the game about the same? Will I be able to play the game with high settings? Thanks for any help.

Here are the games system requirements, which when it comes to graphics cards its alien speak to me.
Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7
Hyperthreaded Intel CPU, AMD Athlon 64 CPU, or any dual-core CPU
128MB Pixel Shader 2.0 (ATI 9700Pro or nVidia 6600 or better); 256 MB Pixel Shader 3.0 (ATI X1600 or nVidia 6800 GT/GS or better) graphics adapter recommended
    1 GB system RAM
    3Gb free hard disk space

the AMD with the 6520 should be about twice as fast as the Intel 3000. the Intel one s faster on the CPU side.

for purely gaming I would say the A6 would be faster, but if you are doing more CPU intensve things go for the i5 for that game I dont think it really matters as the spec you listed is very light by todays standards

I'm not sure if iracing will work on the intel without a dedicated graphics card, but it will certainly work fine on the AMD chip.
