I know that 3DMark2006 is just a 'Benchmark' but how high are people with Nvidia 9700M GTS getting ?? God Bless :)

    Post the following:

    1. 3DMark2006 score

Yeah, with very high overclocking on both the CPU and the GPU, and maybe even the FSB; but even that would barely hit the 10k mark I think.

Yeah I wanted to see what everyone else was able to get. I had actually gotten Toshiba Qosmio F55 to 9960+ by installing an Intel Extreme X9100 running stock @ 3.06GHz and using Ntune to overclock my 9700M GTS GPU. I will try to post pictures later. God Bless :)

    MY 9800GTS coupled with a P8400 maxes out at 9550 with a healthy 12% overclock. You'd need a high-end CPU (x9100) to help get your 9700GTS to 10k 3DMARK06.

Congrats, but be sure to monitor essentials such as temperature, etc. Also, if you didn't do it already, running it under Windows XP may help hit that number.

But since you're already hitting those numbers with an X9100 at stock speeds, 10k is just around the corner, unless your BIOS doesn't allow you to adjust multipliers for extreme chips.

JDELUNA, you have the x9100.. try these clocks and lemme know how it works for ya. I was hitting 8800 with the stock CPU on the x305. try 709/998/1838, and see what ya get :)
