    Is 128MB Geforce 7600 good enough for new games?

    I intend to buy a Gateway NX860X with:
    1.83 Core Duo
    1 GB RAM
    60 GB HARD DISK
    128 MB GF7600
    the only thing i worry about is the graphic card, is that powerful enough for Age of Empire 3,....

    I don't have experience with the card, but I'm sure you can run the game. I'd bet you can't turn on every detail, but that's not a real big deal.

    I was reading that the 7400 has trouble with decent frame rates in HL2 and FarCry. Not sure if those games are your bag, but...

    7600 should be fine for AOEIII. I am not sure how graphics intensive this game is but it should work at medium settings at least.

    That is definately able to run AOE3 and any other game now a days. Nothing to worry about.
