Hi All,
Recently I've purchased a new HP Laptop with AMD A8 4500M processor, 4 GB DDR3 Memory, an 'AMD Radeon HD 7670M' with 2 GB DDR5 & 64 bit Win 7 OS. I intend to use this laptop for office work as well as entertainment.
I'd like to play HD Videos and use it for casual gaming.
I'd like to know how good is this Graphics card for gaming? Can it handle FEAR2, Crysis Warhead, Farcry2 and Fifa 12? I'd also like to play NFS Undercover and Left4Dead 2 on this. My earlier machine had an intel core2duo with 9200 M GS and I could'nt use it much for gaming. Please advise if HD 7670 is any better.

From notebookcheck:
"Compared to the competitor, the 7670M positions itself in our tests slightly above the GeForce GT 630M on a level of the GeForce GT 550M."
So if you plan to play those games you listed, youre fine to do so even at high details.
Problem here is not the gpu itself, but the cpu, the AMD A8 althought "good" on paper is not really a great cpu compared to entry Sandy/Ivy bridges such i3.
Anyway it shouldnt bottleneck the 7670m at least in those games.
Just forget to run intensive games on it, since mostly you'll need a better gpu and moreover a better cpu.
For Crysis Warhead i guess you're fine a 720p with medium details, or a mix of low/medium.
Is AMD Radeon HD 7670M with 2 GB DDR5 good for casual Gaming?
