I am returning to the gaming scene. What is your source for buying PC games today?

If I can, I buy my games from GOG first. If they are not available on GOG, then I buy from Steam. For Ubi games I just buy them from Uplay.

i don't see the point in buying ubisoft games on steam when they make you go through uplay anyway. i just buy ubisoft games directly from uplay.

Steam mostly, GOG if it's a good deal or I feel like it, Origin if I have to.

I go for steam mostly, the simple returns policy is basically 'try before you buy'. You get up to an hour of play and if you don't like it just trigger a return. Really quick and simple, usually same day.
With many games I go to GamesPlanet, saves a few £ and I've been using them for some years. They sell steam/uplay codes totally legit.RicardoTeixeira likes this. -

I just use whatever client they're primarily published on and call it a day. While this does mean I have multiple clients installed, it doesn't really have any negative effect on my day to day gaming.

Sometimes when I go shopping for groceries I swing by the gaming/movies section of the supermarket and I check the bargain bins.

Can't take credit for it.
I just modified it to be more relatable to those of us who stood on the battlements more than two decades ago... -

GoG is my first choice since I detest DRM the way some folks around here detest BGA, then I choose steam, then uplay and origin

G2A is pretty great, but they blocked me from using them after trying to buy $100 in steam cards from their site, be warned. Over all, its a pretty neat little site tbh, I never got stiffed (Except for the steam crates, DON'T GO FOR THOSE

g2a / instantgaming / hrk and then steam
-
I tend to buy from g2play and gamivo. G2A i avoid like the plague with their buying protection scams.

Also trying to cancer the buyer protection is a pain in the ass. I am a web/ux designer and they use all horrible UX techniques to lock someone in and prevent them from cancelling. I buy a lot of games each year and not spending my money there. Going to vote with my wallet.
You also can only cancel it 3 days before the renewal of the subscription. I mean what the actual $%#$
Interesting video

Avoid G2A like a plague.
If you want a cheap key shop, just use CDKeys.com.hfm likes this. -
I have used in the past g2a, but now normaly i find best prices at scdkey.com.
I have bought about 4 games, 5 Windows 10 and till now everything ok -
You can also make a search on allkeyshop.com, but be critical of the stores listed and check their rating as you normally would before purchasing anything.

Steam all the way here. Mostly because it takes care off all software updates.

Is Steam your source for buying games?
