I want an ASUS G1, but it's just too far out of my price range. Then I saw this -
ASUS F3 Series F3T-AP024C NoteBook AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50(1.60GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 1GB DDR2 667 120GB 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600
(It's on newegg, but I am not sure about posting links to retail sites, so that just the basic rundown.)
This can be had for a price I might be able to pay, but I am a bit hesitant on the processor. I am an AMD fanboy, but the 1.6ghz gives me pause. The video card seems solid though, and it's configured with 1x 1gb so I can get it to 2gb RAM easily and cheaply enough. So my question is, is the CPU sufficent?
I already filled out a questionaire, but I am posting this in the gaming section because my only real concern is running WoW, the rest of the time it's going to be used for light travel and to check email, surf, etc. I don't play alot of PC games, only WoW, and I don't plan on jumping into it anytime soon.

You can post the link, its perfectly fine.
And yes, that CPU is more than fine to do what you want to do with it. -

The AMD X2 1.6GHz isn't exactly that strong of a CPU but it won't be a bottleneck in games. The bottleneck is almost always the GPU. For your uses, the X2 1.6GHz is nearly perfect.
Is a 1.6ghz Turion X2 sufficent?
