How much is a 3 digit steam worth?
-
Ok, I'll bite. What is 3 digit steam?
-
A low digit steam means the account is really old. Meaning the gamer has been playing a while. Most new ones are 7 digit or higher.
Mine is 5 digit.
It doesn't really matter unless you care about the account. What matters is what games is tied to the account. -
Where can I find the digi in my account?
-
It'll look like this
STEAM ID: 1:0:xxxxxxxx:0 something like that where the Xs are is your ID. -
Why would it be worth anything?
-
-
it's proof of seniority in a game.. players that are 7+ digit that play extremely well are usually seen as hackers, and are, for the most part, hackers. low digit= proof of being leet. but eh.. buying an account to be considered leet is pretty stupid.
-
Haha wow that's just sad.
-
-
It's worthless. It's the license to the games that are worth anything.
-
WRONG dave. I have an 8 digit and i get constantly accused of hacking because im pretty good (only played 1 year).
A 3 digit is very valuable in the eyes of the average nerd who plays CS. You could get $300 at least for it. The longer you keep it the more valuable it becomes. -
That's the so sad. Game's a game it's the license that matters. People who actually care about online rep need to get outside and get a life.
-
-
I don't know what's worse, someone buying a 3 digit steam so they can pretend they were one of the first people to get steam, or someone insulting you and claiming you cheat because a high digit steam proves you haven't owned the game for the apparent 5 years it requires to develop legitimate skill.

7-digit i am.....!

I'm a 5 digit, =)

its not just random pub noobs who accuse me, if anyone follows the scene a player called ritch from 4 kings thinks i wallhack everytime we play simply because i have 8 digits next to my steam ID

Ignore them then, if you don't hack then you're fine. If an admin bans you, then they're not cut out to be an admin.
-
a 2 digit steam account goes around for 1000 USD, so youd probably sell that thing for about 600 maybe low 400s

This is ridiculous, I don't judge people on what kind of steam account they have, I judge them on how well they play and how they act while doing it.
-
I believe 2 digit accounts were the original beta accounts??
-
eh its intresting the responces to this thread lol

Wow thats sad, my account isnt that old because I didnt get steam till way later but I am very good at games so I woudl be accused probably. I dont remember my original steam stuff tho its long lost I had to make a new id so I am probably 7 maybe 6...
-
My accounts from 2005. What amount of digits would I have? (I'm lazy
)
-
prob 7 maybe a high 6 but there up to 8's now
-
even 6 digits sell for money... 7 digits not so much
-
-
well certain leagues only accept low digits as this is proof the person dosnt cheat or something like that. SO the games arnt as important as the digits on this case
-
But if people know that low digit accounts are being sold on ebay... Shouldn't they all realize that it really doesn't matter how many digits your account has because a n00b or hacker can buy an account.
I mean how can you judge how good someone is just buy a few digits to an account... Some people play games for years and still suck at them compared to others and some are pretty skilled even if new. How immature and childish is the steam community? Judge someone once you see him play and not by a few numbers associated to an account (that can be sold). -
-
lol id means alot
-
-
usually, there is a certain amount of senority that comes with having a low member ID, in what ever you are talking about, forums definatly have that. 04 accounts and earlier on some forums are 'worth' more (even though they aren't sold).
But it doesn't really matter.
I dont' even have a steam account lol. -
-
Who effing cares? I've been playing CS for about 4 years now and it's the first time I hear about this. I judge by how they play and not by how many numbers they have in their SteamID. If I would buy an account I would only care about how much damn games they have on it.
