I have x2 500gb SSD in raid 0 that I install steam games on my current laptop. I will be getting a new laptop soon, Clevo P670RS, and this time I only want 1 m.2 SSD in the 500gb range for some Steam games that require more loading time and other Steam game on a 2tb spinner HD for lesser games.

Is it possible to install on two HDs.

Yep that's right, just add the directory you want in the steam settings first.

Here's a link from Steam that should help. I had the same question; my desktop has a 128 GB SSD for Windows and a few big, commonly played games with long load times (like Starcraft 2 and Civilization V) while the rest were on my 1 TB HDD. It has worked fine for me.
