The requirements for this game states that the video card needs to support Vertex / Pixel Shader 1.1 . Will my Dell Inspiron 8200 graphics card be able to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Tim

Your card doesn't have pixel or vertex shader 1.1 or even 1.0, sorry :(

Zellio is right, unfortunately you can't play that game. The GeForce4 440 Go is a DirectX 7 card; it has no pixel shaders. Pixel shaders only showed up in DirectX 8.x and up cards.

Aye, you're out of luck. Even if it did support the shaders, I doubt that card would be powerful enough to handle it. My X1400 only runs it @ around 35fps.

Thanks everyone for your help in answering my question!!

I guess it is time to start looking for a new notebook sometime this year. Hopefully after the new direct 10x graphic cards start coming out. :)

I think that's a good idea Tim; you have held onto your current notebook for long enough that a few more months ( until April - June, we'll probably see DX10 then) won't matter much. ;)
