    It may be. I got great results overclocking my x300 in my Inspiron 6000.

    What are your reasons for OCing? If you are expecting huge performance increases, you won't. However, you will see slightly higher framerates and perhaps the ability to bump up a setting here and there.

    540 Core / 440 Memory gives me much more stable frame rates in CoD2, CoH and Oblivion.

    i uesed to over clock, but now i just have stock clock settings. Overclocking did a big thing for me.
