Is it worth to buy Bioshock 2 just for its multiplayer?

No, but its worth it for its single player.

Haven't tried the multiplayer, but my main purpose for getting Bioshock 2 was the single player. The GFWL is kinda annoying...

I agree with the others. Bioshock is one of those games where I don't even consider the multiplayer component. It's all about the single player storyline.

I say you should buy it. I am pretty close to beating it soon then I'm going to work on multiplayer after. Game is very good. Recommended!!!

Well the multiplayer pretty much follows the time frame of bioshock one and it has some interesting parts. Multiplayer is pretty tough and the levelling up is comparable to COD 6... sort of.. My only problem is that the servers are glitchy. I'm going to go through it tonight..

I play on an xbox as well.

well its either this or bad company 2 for multiplayer. Idk why i just play multiplayer, when i buy a game, i always try to play the SP and one day i just get so tempted to get a little bit taste of the multiplayer and when I start playing MP, I never go back to the SP.

It's different for this game though I think, since you get a whole different set of weapons in single player and multiplayer so you even get a different shooting experience. For games like MW2, I agree it's the same for me, I get to MP and then I haven't looked back.

If you are looking for a MP game than you should get BC2. Bioshock 2 MP is very unbalanced and a mere distraction at best. A novelty for now. BC2 is built to be a long lasting MP game.

Its multiplayer was fun. at least until people started unlocking the grenade launcher then it became another noob tube fps games like call of duty. absolutely ruined the multiplayer but capture the sister aka Amber Alert is fun as hell
