I run on a MSI GX640 i7 q740 cpu with 8 gb ram and a mobility 5850 OC: 800/1050 Stock: 625/1000
Is my vantage score of 9520 considered okay for this setup?
My laptop also tend to get hot under gaming it stays between 80 and 85 degrees on CPU and GPU, is this okay? (after modding its now max 65 degrees under gaming)
I use a notebook cooler from cooler master with 2 fans.

With regards to your temps, 80-85 is about right for the stock paste job. If you want to lower it by 10c, you can repaste both CPU and GPU with a quality thermal paste -
The score's ok, I wouldn't rave about it though.
And as the guy above me stated, try using thermal paste to lower down the overall temperature of the computer. -
okay i just bought some thermal paste il try to do it, never done it before through and yes its overclocked to 730/1025

Your temps are fine if you can get them lower that is good, but they are not that high. Also I score 11k on a single 5870, so That is about right for a 5850.

I overclocked to 800/1050 and got 9520 Vantage points
After i modded my laptop my max temperature under vantage is now 62 degrees -
Grats! That's with the thermal paste I assume?
-
thats correct sir, but i also opened the back and put it on my laptop cooler which blows directly on CPU and GPU.
Works great since i never move my laptop anyway -
scores are fine. With my clocks I get around 10k.
-
how do you overvolt laptop GPU?
and how to OC my cpu?
can i use throttlestop?
Is my vantage score ok?
